Skin

DP & Edit on this commercial shoot. Spot was for a laser hair removal franchise. Idea was to highlight skin.

This was a first draft (ungraded) that ended up being simplified for something more basic. I dig this cut I did though and still want it as an example of my work.

Music Video: “Salve-me” – Pirigulino Babilake

The Brazilian band Pirigulino Babilake from Salvador came down to São Paulo to shoot their first big production music video.

Director Karina Ades asked me to DP the shoot which took place in an abandoned factory outside the city center.

The song discusses the end of the natural world and the rise of urban monotony. For a band from the beautiful city of Salvador, this abandoned factory must have felt like another planet.

The song's title "Salve-me" means "save me," which in the context of the music video, is a plea for help to save the natural world from the grips of industrialization.

Murality

Artists 4 Israel took graffiti artists from America, Europe and Israel to the Israeli city of Sderot to work with children and the community at large.

Sderot, the target of continous missile attacks from Hamas, has erected bomb shelters all over the city. Closets, bus stops and children's playgrounds have become blast proof in an effort to fortify against missile strikes.

The artists spent three days performing art therapy with children who have post traumatic stress disorder as well as cover the city's numerous bus stop/bomb shelters with paint.

This is a highlight reel visually demonstrating the power of the project on Sderot and the Israeli community at large.
